Welcome to my boutique greyhound gear shop. Everything is handmade with care and to a high standard. I love experimenting with vintage and reclaimed fabrics. Most coats are made in very small runs and often cannot be repeated. Things sell quickly and it can be hard to keep up with demand so if you see something you fall for don't wait around :)

FAQ

  • Do you custom make ?  No I don't have the spare time to make any custom orders. This includes for greyhounds or any other breed of dog.
  • Can I pre pay for a coat to secure one ? No sorry I don't take payment to reserve a coat. It's not fair to the people who wait to buy them readymade from the website.
  • The coats are all out of stock. Most of the coats sell pretty quickly - often within a few hours. I only make limited numbers of each coat and upload them to the website 2 or 3 times a week. Everything is hand cut and sewn with care, it's slow fashion made to last, not cheap and cheerful made in China.
  • Do you have a physical shop I can visit? No I don't.
  • I live in your area can I come and pick my order up instead of using a courier? No, sorry you can't - unless we know each other well enough to have a cup of tea and a natter as well.
  • I haven't received tracking for my parcel. All NZ parcels are mailed out with tracking numbers sent to the email address on your order. I carefully copy and paste each email address myself and put it into Pass the Parcels system so that I know it has been done.  The email will come direct from Pass the Parcel. The emails do sometimes go to junk mail. Please check this. Overseas parcels will only have tracking numbers sent to your email if you have paid for tracked mail. If you choose the cheaper option of standard untracked mail a tracking number cannot be sent because there won't be one. All overseas parcels are mailed ASAP after the order has been placed.
  • My parcel hasn't arrived. It's been 10 days since it was sent. Parcel delivery times do vary. Most are delivered within the time guidelines set out in the shipping lists when you check out. Very occasionally a parcel will take longer to be delivered. This is in the hands of the delivery service and the post gods. I cannot do anything to speed this up but I do try and help you find out where it is in the system. NZ - All orders are sent next working day, unless it is a preorder which will be sent in the timeframe specified. If you order a readymade item and a preorder together they will both be sent when the preorder is ready. If your parcel hasn't arrived within 5 working days of receiving the tracking details please either chase it up with Pass the Parcel or contact me and I can help chase it up too.  INTERNATIONAL - A parcel is only considered lost once 21 working days have passed since it was mailed. If a parcel does get lost I will replace or refund but only after the 21 working days have passed. COVID has seen big delays to international shipping. Please bear this in mind. Many parcels are taking 4-5 weeks to arrive
  • My parcel has been delivered but it's not at my address. Occasionally couriers make mistakes and deliver to the wrong address. If you think this had happened the best thing to do is contact the courier company and ask them to check the gps tracking to see where your parcel went. If it had been incorrectly delivered often it can be tracked down and redelivered. The courier company is responsible for this. It can also mean that your parcel has been delivered correctly and then stolen from your address. This is becoming more common. If this has  happened it becomes a matter for the police. You need to report the theft to them.
  • I haven't received a confirmation of my order.  The website sends automatically an order confirmation to the email address entered on the order. The website doesn't make mistakes and forget to send an order confirmation.  If you haven't received an order confirmation it has either gone to your junk mail or the email address has been entered incorrectly at the time of placing the order.  If an email address is incorrect and undeliverable you won't receive an order confirmation. Please email me with a deliverable email address if you haven't received an order confirmation.
  • How do I put onesies on my dog?  The best way to put any clothes with legs on your hound is first to have them standing. Don't try and put them on when the dog is lying down - it doesn't work.  You stand by their shoulder facing towards their head. Put the garment over their head and pull all the excess fabric down to their shoulders. Next you want to locate a front leg hole and from the outside of the belly hole to the inside of the leg hole put your thumb over all the belly fabric (you'll have a bit of shuffled up fabric in your hand) and in to the leg hole pulling down and out. With the other hand pick up the dogs leg and bend it up towards the belly. In one move you should be able to pop the leg through leg hole. Repeat for the other side. If you have back legs to get in its pretty much a similar move but face the other way. It can feel awkward the first few times you do this and your hound may not be used to the feeling of wearing legs too and do a funny stiff legged walk - have you camera ready it's really funny but don't laugh, that's just not on :)  They quickly get used to the feeling and will walk normally and putting them on will become second nature to you . My hounds are so used it now they lift their own legs.
